SimcoeTek – Services Rate Card
Simcoetek offers a variety of technical services including computers and information technology, but also offers additional technical services for computer networking, home theater design and wiring.
This is the rate card for Simcoetek services. Pricing and Services are separated down into several main categories;
- Computer and Laptop Services (laptop screen repair, software, hardware, upgrades etc.)
- Web Design and Graphics Services (web design, logo’s, blogs etc.)
- Internet Promotion and Marketing Services (facebook, twitter, google search etc.)
- Home Theater Services (lcd plasma wall mounting, speaker wires, surround sound etc.)
- Home Wiring (network (Cat5, Telephone, Satellite TV, Cable TV outlets and wiring)
Computer and Laptop Services
Pricing for computer and laptop service is $55 per hour when your PC or laptop is dropped at our location. If you require on-site service, pricing is $75 per hour. All repairs will be done with your consent prior to any work being performed. Taxes are not included in hourly rates, parts or labour.
There may be instances where a deposit may be required to order parts. This information will be determined before any repairs are started. 15% Restocking charges may apply
Simcoetek also offers technical support at no additional charge.
Internet Promotion and Marketing Services
Simcoetek also offers Internet promotion and marketing services which specialize in putting your business on google, facebook, twitter and other popular social media websites. There are many options with many different prices. The most common practice is to achieve ‘top 10’ listings in google for your particular search term, or product. This requires an ongoing effort and is charged on a monthly basis. There are other options which are not monthly, these include indexing your site on google and the major search engines. This particular service is $75. Creating a facebook page for your product or service is $150.
Web Site and Graphics Design Services
Pricing for web design services does not include web hosting and a domain name, however if these are needed, we will find you the best web hosting solution for your individual needs.
Basic Web Site Design:
$300 for a 3 page website, including a banner (468 x 60 pixels) website logo. The 3 pages included can be customized to anything you desire. The quoted price does not include any database connectivity. This may be quoted based upon consultation, and on a business needs assessment. This price includes an s XML formatted sitemap, some basic keyword selection, and meta tag generation (for search engine inclusion)
You as the customer have final say, and we will provide 1 sample for your approval. This includes up to 3 revisions until the final product has been completed. Any changes thereafter are not included in the price.
Website Updates and Maintenance:
The standard rate is $25 per call. Website updates are considered to be minor changes to an existing website. This includes changing text, updating links, images and other minor modifications. Changes are based on a single incident. One example may to change a business address on all pages of your website. This would be a single charge of $25.
If you need more frequent website updates such as weekly or daily changes, prices will be quoted based on website maintenance rates. These rates are billed monthly, and are quoted based on your business needs. Routine updating of a website several times per week, on an ongoing basis may cost $100 per month for example.
Redesigning a webpage or an entire website does not fall into this category.
Website Redesign
A website redesign is quoted based on how much redesigning is to be done. If you are reusing a logo or any portions of the existing website, the redesign will likely cost less than a newly designed website, however if your new design requirements are extensive, then the quoted price may increase. A general rule of thumb is $50 per page.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
$75 onetime fee, (per site) SEO services can also be billed on an ongoing basis.

Social Networking and Optimization
This service will promote your website by building awareness using social networking. The process is very time consuming and involves manual labor. Thus, pricing is $100 per website. This will build backlinks, relative content, Google pagerank, and ultimately a lasting search engine ranking. This is also available on an ongoing basis as well.
